Farm Aid got its start about forty years ago, when more than fifty artists got together to stand with family farmers in the depths of the 1980s Farm Crisis. The loss of these family farms devastated communities across the heartland. Fast forward four decades and we find our nation’s farmers in the midst of another farm crisis.
